The Gateway Outreach program is an essential part of the Gateway experience. Without it the camp participants themselves and those they have the opportunity to serve will miss out on an extremely important aspect of what we believe God wants them to discover, experience and share with others.

The at home and team preparation stage as well as camp program will provide valuable truth as well as important experiences with God and others. It is primarily in the context of outreach that theory can become a living reality. On outreach new steps of faith can be taken with God. It is here that the truth about who He is and who I am in Him can settle unshakably into ones heart. It is during outreach that we can discover the joy of giving of our selves to the Lord Jesus and others. It is during outreach that we can be introduced to what can become a life habit of regularly listening to God, trusting and obeying Him in all kinds of circumstances. Outreach also gives us a chance to be a part of the important things God wants to do in Hong Kong and Mainland China today. Again without the outreach aspect of Gateway participants will miss what may prove to be the most valuable aspect of the entire Gateway Experience. We want the best for you. Please don’t let finances or the decisions of your friends rob you of what He wants for you this summer. Ask Him to show you what outreach you should join, discuss it with you leaders and then trust God to enable you to fulfill His purposes in and through you.
